ABOUT.
Focus Mode: Meets are relaxed, social walks open to all levels.
Whether you've just picked up a camera or you've been shooting for years, you'll fit right in. Come for the photography, the company, or both.
There's no formal teaching, but there's always help if you want it. We'll wander, see what the light gives us, and try to make some photographs we're proud of.
Free and open to all. Bring whatever camera you have. Phones are more than welcome.

No need to book. Just turn up at the meeting point.
Check the forecast and dress accordingly. Bring whatever you need for your camera setup. You know yourself better than we do.
Any level. Complete beginners are just as welcome as experienced shooters. It is a walk, not a workshop.
Absolutely. We actively encourage it. Modern smartphones are genuinely capable of incredible results and we think phone photography deserves more credit than it gets.
After each meet, everyone is invited to send in a selection of their shots. Gary will put together a collaborative post on Instagram featuring images from the group. It is non-selective. If you send, at least one of your photos will be included.
Focus Mode: Meets take place in public spaces. All participants attend at their own risk. While every care is taken in choosing routes and keeping the group together, participants remain responsible for their own safety, awareness, and equipment at all times.
