THE FOCUS MODE ADADEMY
Photography, without the rush
Welcome to the Focus Mode Academy
This space is currently under construction while I build it into the best place I can for photographers to learn, develop, and grow in confidence with their photography.
People come to photography at different points, with different levels of experience and different kinds of support needs. The Academy is being designed to make it easy to find the kind of help that’s actually useful to you, rather than forcing everyone into the same path.
The Focus Mode Academy is organised into a small number of dedicated spaces. Each one groups together related products, offering a different depth of support. Together, they form the structure behind how Focus Mode is taught and practised.
The Free Vault is where open access resources live, including the Photography Foundations Challenge, for anyone who wants to explore the Focus Mode approach without commitment.
Courses & Resources brings together structured courses and downloadable materials designed to help photographers build understanding at their own pace.
Guidance & Community is centred around supported learning. This includes discussion and feedback, as well as direct guidance through one-to-one calls and photography walks, helping photographers apply ideas in practice.
Mentoring is reserved for longer-term support, offering ongoing guidance, accountability, and direction as photographers develop their work over time.
You don’t need to move through everything for the learning to be valuable. Each space exists to support a different need, and you can engage where it makes sense for you.
As the Academy takes shape, I’ll share updates through email and on Instagram when new products and sections are ready.
In the meantime, you can explore what’s available below.
