These Terms of Service apply to all use of this website and to all purchases of photography walks, coaching sessions, photography calls, digital products, and educational resources. By accessing this website or by completing a purchase, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree with these Terms, you must not use this website or purchase any products or services. For clarity, Focus Mode is the name used for certain photography education products, coaching services, digital resources, and community offerings provided by Matt Jackson Photography. All Focus Mode products and services are covered by these Terms of Service.

Services Provided

Matt Jackson Photography provides photography walks, coaching sessions, educational calls, digital products, and learning resources. All services are educational and informational in nature and are delivered either in person, online, or digitally depending on the product purchased.

Photography Walks and In-Person Sessions

Photography walks and in-person sessions take place in public spaces. Participation is voluntary, and attendees are responsible for their own safety, wellbeing, and personal belongings at all times. While every effort is made to create a safe and enjoyable experience, conditions such as weather, terrain, lighting, and public activity are outside of my control. Suitable clothing, footwear, and camera equipment should be brought for the conditions on the day. I hold full public liability insurance covering any injury or damage caused directly by my actions or equipment. This insurance does not cover general accidents, environmental conditions, or damage to personal equipment. A short participant form may be sent after booking and must be completed before the scheduled session in order to confirm participation and understanding of session requirements.

Photography Calls and Coaching Sessions

Photography calls, coaching sessions, and portfolio reviews are delivered via an agreed online platform. You are responsible for ensuring you have suitable internet access and suitable equipment to participate. All session content is educational and does not guarantee specific outcomes, results, business success, or creative improvement.

Digital Products and Educational Content

All digital products and educational resources are provided for personal use only. Content may not be copied, shared, resold, redistributed, or made available to others without written permission. Access to digital products may be provided immediately upon purchase.

Community Access

Access to the Focus Mode Community is provided via a third-party platform. Participation must remain respectful, constructive, and appropriate. Access may be suspended or revoked without refund if behaviour is disruptive, harmful, abusive, or inappropriate.

Intellectual Property

All content provided through this website, digital products, coaching sessions, calls, and educational materials remains the intellectual property of Matt Jackson Photography unless otherwise stated. This includes written content, images, videos, downloads, and course materials. Unauthorised use is not permitted.

Photography Rights

Any photographs you capture during a photography walk or session remain your property. Any behind-the-scenes photographs or video footage captured by me will only be used for promotional or educational purposes with your consent.

Disclaimer and No Guarantee of Results

All content, products, services, calls, workshops, photography walks, digital downloads, and educational materials provided by Matt Jackson Photography and Focus Mode are for educational and informational purposes only. Refund Policy

Refunds are governed solely by the Refund Policy available on this website. By completing a purchase, you acknowledge that all sales are final.

Chargebacks and Payment Disputes

By completing a purchase, you agree not to initiate a chargeback or payment dispute without first contacting Matt Jackson Photography to attempt to resolve the issue. Unauthorised chargebacks or payment disputes, including those raised without valid grounds such as fraud or duplicate payment, are considered a breach of these Terms of Service. Where a chargeback or dispute is raised, all relevant records may be submitted to the payment provider. This may include purchase confirmations, access logs, digital delivery records, email correspondence, call attendance records, and acceptance of these Terms of Service. If a chargeback is upheld in favour of Matt Jackson Photography, you remain responsible for any associated fees or costs incurred as a result of the dispute.

All services and educational content are provided on an as is basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Matt Jackson Photography shall not be liable for any loss, injury, damage, or dissatisfaction arising from participation in services, attendance at events, or use of educational content.
